Fly Fishing Champions - Payne Bay, Nunavik, Quebec

Three of Canada's most experienced fly fishermen show their skill on these Arctic Char infested waters. Custom fly tying, a look inside the tackle box, expert conversation, incredible fishing plus a mass Caribou migration make this a must see for fly fishing enthusiasts. Regular guest the Dialup Char Guy Donald Thom is the first Canadian ever with a podium finish at the World Fly Fishing Championship, winning the 2009 Silver Medal in Scotland. Also on the trip is Randy Taylor, President of Fly Fishing Canada, a member of the Canadian Fly Fishing Team and an expert flytyer. Rounding out the guest list is another member of the Canadian team, John Beaven of Parksville, B.C., and our friend and previous guest Michel Leblanc, Skip Witt and our host at camp - Steve Ashton, of Arctic Adventures. Nunavik Quebec Co-Ed Caribou Hunt

Quebec Labrador Caribou hunt at Bobby's Camp about 125 miles west of Ungava Bay and the arctic community of the Kuujjuaq, Quebec. A group of 8 hunters, including Steve MacInnis, Bill Carrette, Steve Ashton, a couple from Alberta and 3 hunters from the USA flyin to the remote camp by floatplane. In Part I guest hosts Heather and Kevin Wilson of Alberta, hunt with a combination of bow, muzzle loader and rifle to harvest their 3 Caribou on this extraordinary 5 day hunt.  In Part II regular guest and our host on the trip, Steve Ashton of Arctic Adventures, Steve MacInnis, and Quebec hunter Stephane Corbeil team up for another classic Nunavik adventure. Between stalks and waves of migrating Caribou, we'll take in the tundra scenery and wildlife, and we'll meet some of the other hunters in camp.   Nunavik Tourism   Quebec Original
Kuujjuaq, Quebec – Salmon, Musk Ox, Mussels and More!

Manitoba Fly-in Bass and Walleye
Alex Keszler and son, Darrell reel up some beauties on this unique Bass and Walleye fishery in Manitoba's near north. Shaun Jackson, pilot and owner of Jackson's Lodges and Outposts flies us into one of his remote wilderness lakes.  Despite the early season cool and wet weather the fishing action was incredible. Manitoba Riding Mountain Wildlife / Oakbank Goose Hunt

Guest Gary Mataze along with a group of friends take us with them on an early morning hunt for Canada Geese just a short distance from Winnipeg.  Then we travel to Riding Mountain National Park to check out the Manitoba scenery and wildlife in this hilly oasis of wilderness in the middle of the prairies.
North to Big Sand Lake
Gary Roach and Rory Wiebe chase big Lakers and a bunch of Walleyes at one of Manitoba's northern most fly-in wilderness lakes Big Sand Lake. The subarctic, esker laden landscape of Big Sand Lake is the backdrop for some of Manitoba's best angling and northern wilderness lodging. Angler Young Angler 2010 Championship

Multi-camera coverage of the annual Angler & Young Angler International Championship at Kenora, Ontario. A total of 28 teams from across North America compete for the coveted title of AYA Champions. The winner is determined by the largest 5 fish limit of Walleyes and there are some whoppers in Lake of Woods! Great event – great fishing – great for the kids! It's professional tournament fishing for kids!

Father and son Don and Ryan Price share a boat with legend Gary Roach, Mr. Walleye. This is mid-summer fishing at it's best on one of Gary's favorite bodies of waters, the Winnipeg River at Minaki, Ontario. Then Chris Kindraka shares a boat with Jeff Gustafson to fish for Bass on his home waters, Lake of the Woods, Ontario. Jeff is a multiple time winner of the Kenora Bass International and member of the Lund Pro Staff. These one day fishing trips with the pro's were purchased at an Angler Young Angler fundraiser auction dinner. 2010 Canadian Fly Fishing Championship - Roblin, Manitoba
Top competitive anglers from Canada and Europe visit southwestern Manitoba's Parkland Region lakes for some of the best Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and Tiger Trout fishing on the continent.  Competitors fish for 3 hours on each of the 5 competition lakes over a 2-1/2 day period.  Tune in to see competitive flyfishing at it's best, and find out why the waters and the communities in the region attract anglers from all over.

On this adventure friends Ryan Sproule, Jason Gauthier and Steve MacInnis visit Plummer's Great Slave Lake Lodge. While there the trio reel up a bunch of Lake Trout using jigs, spoons and something new, the totally artificial Rhys Davis Baitrix herring rigs. It was around 1980 when Steve discovered and popularized the effectiveness of this method using natural herring for catching Lake Trout. After 30 years of using real herring, Steve proves the plastic bait works just as well at fooling these aggressive predator fish.  Tune in to watch this trio wrestle with some of the most beautiful Lake Trout, on one of the worlds most scenic areas to fish, the Northeast Arm of Great Slave Lake, Northwest Territories.   Sneak Preview
Nunavik, Quebec - Land of Adventure
On this trip we visit several Inuit villages and places of interest along the Ungava Bay coast in northern Quebec's Nunavik region. The group on the trip includes representatives from Tourisme Quebec, the Nunavik Tourism Association, the Katavik Regional Government, plus a few photographers and tour operators. From Polar Bear viewing on Akpotak Island, to hiking the Pingualluit Crater, to an aerial tour of the Koroc River, fly-in Brook trout fishing, plus great Muskox viewing this is a truly dynamic, extraordinary adventure!

Manitoba Moose Hunt - Jackson's Lodges & Outposts
On this adventure we fly north from the Winnipeg River at Lac du Bonnet into the heart of eastern Manitoba's boreal forest, and Harrop Lake. This combination fishing and hunting camp is the only operation in the area, so this is a remote wilderness adventure for just a few people at a time.
