A week long celebration of Inuit culture held every 2 years in the village of Puvirnituq located on the northeastern Hudson Bay coast in arctic Quebec's Nunavik regionSnow and ice sculpting, traditional skills competitions, igloo building, dog sledding, music performances, country foods and Inuit fun.  Plus ice fishing for cod, ice diving for marine delicacies, winter camping and sleeping in an igloo, the quintessential Nunavik experience.

Bobby Hull Pike Fishing in NW Ontario

Adventures North shot a late season Pike fishing episode recently with hockey legend Bobby Hull and Lund Pro Staffer Craig Stapon on the Winnipeg River, near Keewatin, Ontario.  Chase boat driver Al Fast and guest Pat McCullough also contributed, and Craig shares a fewtips and tactics for catching Muskiesin the same watersIt was a pleasure to share a boat with Bobby Hull, hear a few great hockey stories and learn of his love of fishing.

2 Part - Payne Bay Fishing & Wildlife Nunavik, Quebec

2 Part - Big Sand Lake Adventure with Gary Roach Mr Walleye
The subarctic esker laden landscape is the backdrop for some of Manitoba's best angling and northern wilderness lodging.  Guest host Gary Roach Mr Walleye himself and friend Paul Zarn showcase the great Walleye and Lake Trout fishing at Big Sand Lake one of the most remote wilderness lakes in the province.  Lodge Manager Rick Bohna talks about the experience and the native guides and lodge staff serve up good food and fun times.
2 Part - Great Bear Lake Fishing & Wildlife Adventure
Steve MacInnis and friend Jason Gauthier visit Plummer's Trophy Lodge for a fishing and wildlife adventure.  Great fishing for Lake Trout, Arctic Grayling and even some Pike at the top of the world. Jigs, spoons, crankbaits and plastic Rhys Davis Baitrix herring rigs were all effective.  We also encounter Moose, Musk Ox, Caribou and Peregrine Falcons while touring one of the worlds largest and most prolific sport fisheries Great Bear Lake, NWT.

Walleyes With the Pros Alex and Darrel Keszler
Join Alex Keszler and son Darrel as they pre-fish for a tournament on the legendary Winnipeg River near Minaki, Ontario.  Alex is a member of the Lund Boats Pro Staff and is a top Bass angler in Canadian tournaments He is more known as one of the top Walleye tournament anglers anywhere ever!  Alex shows us some of his secrets, tackle and cutting edge trolling techniques that win tournaments.  It's like a Walleye fishing instructional super show!  
Bobby Hull Fishing Experience Lake of the Woods, Ontario
This annual 2 day charity fishing tournament on Lake of the Woods, attracts former and current NHL hockey players for some competitive fun and Walleye fishing. Headquarters for the event is Wiley Point Lodge about 20 miles south of Kenora, Ontario.  Participants purchase the chance to share a boat with a hockey legend like Bobby Hull, Ulf Nilson, Thomas Steen, Carey Wilson, Wayne Babych and others. Great fishing, lots of hockey chat and laughs - all for a great cause, with proceeds going to the Amadeus Steen Foundation
2 Part - Kuururjuaq Park Adventure - Ice Fish, Culture & Polar Bears
On this trip we visit one of Nunavik's new parks the Kuururjuaq ParkIn Part 1 a group of us travel with Inuit guides and Parks personnel from the village of Kangiqsualujjuaq to a base camp inland on the Koroc River.  Ice fishing for Arctic Char - touring through spectacular mountains - Inuit cultural learning experience -
and pristine wilderness. In Part 2 we camp at the edge of the park boundary along the Ungava Bay coast where we go Polar Bear watching on the sea ice, and later visit a traditional Inuit camping areaAnother totally different and extraordinary adventure! Ice Fishing Inuit Style!
